My artistic intent is to capture my subject's inner and outer beauty in such a way that is honest and authentic.
Jennifer Packard is a Washington, DC (metro) based photographer and artist specializing in professional headshots, portraits, real estate, pet, event, concert performance, PR, sports, and nature photography. She also conducts design and consulting services ranging from personal branding, web/user experience, and graphics. In 2018 Jennifer expanded her work to include large-scale contemporary photo illustrations for corporate offices.
Jennifer has a BFA in Applied Media Arts & Photography, a Masters in Communication Studies, and completed an advanced learning program in user experience design at the General Assembly in Washington, DC. Previously, she served in the Navy Reserves with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Twenty Three as a Seabee, and ultimately earned a commission as a public affairs officer. Her articles and photographs told the Navy story around the globe.
Jennifer has also taught photography for life-long learning adults, gifted and talented high school students, and she employed the medium as a rehabilitative tool working with homeless women and at-risk youths. She is a member of Professional Photographer's of America (PPA) and is published in USA Today, NBC News, ABC Newspapers, Washingtonian, Arlington Magazine, The Advocate, Self.com, Navy Times, and others. In her spare time she volunteers her skills for Tregaron Conservancy, 13-acres of historic protected parkland in northwest DC.
