
Jennifer Packard is a Washington D.C.- based photographer specializing in portraiture, editorial interiors and architecture, performance, and special events. She has a BFA in applied media arts and photography, and a master's degree in communication studies. Serving in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 10-years as a public affairs officer, she earned numerous awards for sharing the "Navy story" in words and pictures.
An active member of Photographers Without Borders and the Women's Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, D.C., Jennifer is published in USA Today, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Washingtonian, Design & Decor (South Florida), Arlington Magazine, The Advocate (Louisiana), Navy Times, and others. Her 2020 book, "Enraptured by Raptors, The Story of a Red-Shouldered Hawk Family That Captured The Heart of a Community," raised funds and awareness for wildlife conservation. In her spare time, she volunteers her skills as the official photographer for Tregaron Conservancy, protected historic parkland in Northwest DC.
